Nicholas has been very busy lately. He seems to be learning new things like crazy these days, and with that learning comes a whole series of new experiences! And if you ask me, not all of these new experiences are to my liking! Like when he discovered he could pull all the tupperware out of the drawers and chew on them! (No worries, I did wash them afterwards!) Or when he "helped" me with wrapping his presents...and then rewrap them! And for my personal favorite, when Nicholas discovered the bathroom.
Specifically, he discovered how cool it is when he pulls on the toilet paper and it all comes unrolled! Once, after I scolded him for playing with the toilet paper, he immediately turned to the toilet and started splashing his hands in it! I immediately grabbed his hands before his could put them in his mouth! We now keep the lid down!
Not all of his past times are driving me crazy, though. Since we moved into our new place, we have discovered that Nicholas has two new loves. Well, make that three. He loves to dance with his mom, play guitar with his dad, and, of course, has fallen for Elmo, Oscar, and all those crazy creatures on Sesame Street! If that show is on, his attention is captured for a good three minutes, and I've discovered that I can accomplish so much in those three minutes! We definitely love watching him as he grows, though! He just continues to be a (usually) happy little boy who brings so much joy into our lives!
You learn to get a lot done in three minutes, huh? :) Sounds like he's well into toddler-hood.

I have also come to love and appreciate Sesame Street along with a whole slew of other PBS shows! Yes, three minutes is about it at this age. It won't be long until it extends to 5, and someday he'll sit through the whole Toy Story video, belive it or not!
