I picked up about 20 pounds of apples at an orchard in Milford (where I grew up) so that I could make some applesauce and can it. Brandon and Nicholas helped me out. Brandon was a little more helpful than Nicholas, who kept eating the apples that Brandon was coring/peeling/slicing for me!
We also went to a place in Milford called Shaw Pumpkin Farm. Apparently I went there a few times growing up, but I don't remember. It's a fun (and free!) place to take the kids around Halloween, and they can run around all of the different scenes that are set up there. Lots of photo opps!
This is Nicholas and his cousin Emily running around the 3 Little Pigs area growling like the Big Bad Wolf.
Miss Renae enjoyed walking around snuggled in close to me. I'll admit it...I loved it, too!
This photo was nearly impossible to get with all three kids looking out their windows at the same time. Fortunately my mom and my sister-in-law Sarah were holding the kids in place behind the scenes long enough for my brother Scott and me to be able to take some pictures.
I also took Nicholas and Renae over to see my mom and trick or treat at their home. Renae was Little Red Riding Hood and Nicholas was the Big Bad Wolf. I was really lame and forgot his wolf hat at home. It was really cute, too! Unfortunately Nicholas has all but destroyed it now!

We also went to our ward's chili dinner and trunk-or-treat and loved it, but forgot our camera, so we don't have any photos of that. We also went to a Halloween get together at a friend's home around the corner from us, and we loved being able to spend time with everyone there. Unfortunately, Nicholas was cranky nearly the entire time, so we left the party around 6:45 to go home and put Nicholas to sleep. Brandon then had to go back to work, but I sat out on our front porch with Renae and was able to just chat with our neighbors on both sides while we all passed out candy. It was pretty funny because I didn't think we'd be home to pass out candy, so I didn't have any to pass out. But my neighbors both had tons, so they each donated to our candy stash, and I passed out their candy for Halloween! We really had a great day and a fun Halloween season!
