We spent Christmas Eve in Mt. Sterling, OH with Brandon's family. Nicholas and his Grandma Brooks made some cookies for everyone to eat.
Nicholas did more eating of the batter than actually helping Grandma, but the two of them had lots of fun together!
Nicholas also helped his aunt Marissa decorate the cookies with sprinkles...lots of sprinkles.
Later on the boys decided to have some bonding time. Brandon was helping Nicholas learn new words here, and Nicholas was loving the one-on-one time with his dad.
Jacob also got some one-on-one time with Brandon. Ever since he was little, Jacob loved getting a certain kind of hug from Brandon called a "Big Bear Squeeze." I love his cute smile here!
Brandon and Nicholas also got in some fun wrestling time while we were in Mt. Sterling. I think in their minds, any time is a good time for wrestling with each other!
After dinner, we left Mt. Sterling and came back to our own home so that we could do Christmas morning on our own for the first time.
Looks like fun! Nicholas sure enjoyed the making of cookies!
