Brandon turned the big 25 a week ago today (on December 29th). In order to celebrate the fact that he can now rent a car, has caused our car insurance to drop, and is now a quarter of a century old, we had my parents and grandparents over to our home to join in the celebration.
Nicholas loved being able to play with all the grandparents there...and we loved that they kept him entertained while we were getting dinner and cake and presents ready!
Peach cobbler birthday cake! Too bad the peaches were still so warm that they melted the bottom of the candles faster than the actual flame melted the top of the candles...
My adorable husband really gets off on somewhat nerdy things like Popular Science magazine, so I got him a subscription. He already wants me to buy him the cool GPS he read about in this magazine!
Nicholas got his dad some matchbox planes to play with. The fact that Nicholas can play with them, too, was great! (And they have played with them together since then!)
We also got to celebrate Brandon and his mom's birthdays together last week. Her birthday is Dec. 27 and Brandon's is the 29th, so when we can, it's fun celebrating them together.

Ha Ha, yup! My candles were tipping over too. Except, I tried to put all the candles on for Tyson's birthday, but that quickly became a bad idea. Anyway, looks like it was a fun birthday. I miss you Bec! Wish we could see each other.
