I love this holiday! The Irish in me really comes out! We had leprechauns at our house this morning putting shamrock stickers on everyone and everything. They wanted to leave treats in everyone's shoes, but forgot to do so until this morning. It has been a pretty lucky day for us, though. Our big news is that Renae got her first tooth today! I was at the park with my friend Kathleen this morning and pointed out Renae's swollen gums, but said that she probably wouldn't get her first tooth for another couple of weeks. When we got home, I put her in her high chair to feed her lunch, and when she opened her mouth, I noticed a tooth had just popped through! She seems to be pretty proud of it and keeps moving her tongue over her new tooth. I think I forgot to mention this, but Renae also just started sitting up on her own last week. We took her for her six month check up, and I asked the doctor at what age to be looking for her to sit up on her own. The doctor then sat her up on the examination table and let go, and Renae was sitting up all on her own! It was pretty funny! And since luck seems to come in threes, I will also mention that I won a free flower rubber stamp on another blog's giveaway! What a great day!
Awesome!! I love that she runs her tongue over her new tooth. I remember doing that when I was a kid and losing teeth.
