Christmas photos time! We spent Christmas Eve (day) with Brandon's family up in Columbus. We had fun there! Unfortunately, we only took one or two pictures. While there, we had fun with the white elephant gift exchange and sibling gift exchange. We were going to have a roast, but due to some technical difficulties, we ended up having frozen pizza, mashed potatoes, rolls, jello salad, and green bean casserole! It was all very delicious, though!
This is our dog wrestling with Brandon's parents' dog, Pete. This is also Nicholas wrestling with Brandon's brother, Chandler. I thought it made for a fun photo!
I was so excited to watch the kids open their presents, that I woke up around 6:00 and turned on lights, cleaned up a little, did some dishes, and took pictures.

In Brandon's family, there is a tradition that no one can go open their gifts or stockings until they wake up the dad. So, Nicholas and Renae tried to do that, but took their time doing so. Brandon was doing his best pretending to sleep!

Renae loves that this baby doll calls her, "Mama." I love that this baby doll came with an "off" switch.

We spent Christmas day at my parents' home. Nicholas apparently loves to wrestle with just about any relative who will let him! (I always feel really bad for Connor because she seems to get 150% of Nicholas whenever he's around her!)

It is a Hales Family Christmas tradition to have a talent show. Nicholas came up with talent all on his own: he did a magic trick and pulled a penny out of Grandpa's ear! And he finished it off by bowing and saying, "Thank you! Thank you!" What a ham.

Renae graced us with showing off her budding vocabulary. Nothing says Christmas like a 15 month-old saying "diaper".

We are always very grateful to be able to celebrate the birth of our Savior and for His example in our lives. Merry Christmas to all!
