Nicholas has always been a creative little boy. I feel a little bad that I haven't shared his creativity as much as I should have. These pictures are all several months old, but still worth sharing.
He went through a phase where he would find ordinary objects and turn them into airplanes. I'd find little airplanes all over the place made out of hair brushes, a stapler, pencils, the tv remotes, etc. He was always so proud of his airplanes!
Nicholas is also very good at figuring things out on the computer. For now, this is a blessing, but once he starts to figure out things that are beyond me, then I may rethink this statement! He also went through a phase where he liked to get on Google SketchUp. I'm sure he's observed both of his parents on this program from time to time, so I really wasn't surprised when I found him playing on it one day. He proudly showed me this picture and said, "I made a house for you, Mommy!"
Nicholas also really likes coloring, though these days he prefers to do connect the dots and mazes. While working in the backyard one day, Nicholas pulled me over to the driveway to show me his...dinosaur! I was impressed because it actually resembles a dinosaur!
Wow, he's good! What a smart boy!
