We decided to turn Renae's crib into a toddler bed a few weeks ago...for purely practical reasons. When the kids would get up in the morning (6-6:30-ish), we would still want to stay in bed. Nicholas found it very easy to just run and jump in bed with us, but Renae was always left whining in her crib, wanting to join the party. One of us (me) would then have to get out of bed and go get her. We figured she was perfectly capable of sleeping in a toddler bed, so we switched it up for her, and have (generally) loved her new-found freedom of getting herself out of bed!
She sure seems to love it!
And, as proof that we do actually clean their room quarterly...ta da! It stayed that way for almost 18 hours!
