And a Few More Zoo Pictures...With Austin and Sara!

Brandon's brother Austin and his wife Sara came down from Columbus to visit us at the beginning of August.  They had never really been to Cincinnati before, so we took them to the zoo with us and then on a tour of Cincinnati.  It was a really fun day!

And now for some obligatory photos...

We unintentionally chose to go to the zoo on a day where they were offering half-price admission, so it was really, really crowded at the zoo.  And all of the animals that you are allowed to feed had already eaten too much during the day and were uninterested in eating out of our hands.  Fortunately, the birds were still willing to play with us a bit.

It was so crowded that we were boxed into this little corner.  You can just barely tell, but there was a large bird sitting right above Brandon, and we were a little worried that he might end up being decorated by said bird!

The kids (and Austin) found this little fountain and, of course, wanted to play in the water.  Renae kept fishing pennies out of the bottom of the fountain, and Nicholas just about toppled in.

We stood in line for what seemed like forever to ride the train...a very short 5 minute ride.  I'm glad that Brandon was able to get this cute picture of Austin and Sara, though.  I think it's the only photo we really got of the two of them together that day.

Renae was playing in the tunnel in the children's zoo area and peeked her cute little face out.

Nicholas loved that he was big enough to climb up and sit on top of the tunnel all by himself.

The goat petting/feeding area.  These goats were not at all interested in eating while we were there, but the kids sure were interested in trying to get them to eat!
