Little Diva. Sassy Pants. Princess. These are just a few of the names we give to our red haired girl, and they all fit her personality like a glove. She has such an independent spirit and is always wanting to do things by herself. So, most of her outfits don't necessarily pass with my approval, but she's only 2 1/2, so who am I to stifle a toddler's creativity, right? Actually, it's more of a pick-my-battles kind of thing, but the look of accomplishment on her face whenever she does something all by herself is so great that I'd willingly take her anywhere in public!
At some point every day, this is the look she sports: nothing but a pull-up. Some days she'll go around like this for the better part of the day. Generally we're okay with it...except when the pull-up mysteriously disappears.
This pink tutu skirt is probably her favorite clothing item (other than pjs). She wears it well.
Pajamas are her favorite things to wear. Since Seth was born, I've probably worn pajama pants just as often as I've worn jeans around the house. Renae likes to imitate me (it's so adorable most of the time), so she has taken to wearing her pajama pants around the house, too. She also loves her winter boots and has been known to wear them to church with her tutu skirt...even when it hasn't rained or snowed.
Words seem so inadequate for this picture...
I never thought ten different shades of pink would go together so well!
I love this girl.
:)
She is pretty cute! It's funny to see what kids are attracted to
