We had such a fun Christmas this year!
We spent Christmas Eve with Brandon's parents and siblings, and enjoyed some good ol' traditional Brooks family fun! We enjoyed our dollar store white elephant gift swap, the kids reenacted the nativity story, we swapped presents, ate some prime rib, goofed around, and those who like egg nog enjoyed Brandon's mom's homemade egg nog! (I don't like drinks that are too sweet, so I never have any, but I hear it's really good.)
We spent Christmas Eve night and Christmas morning doing our own thing, and then we went to church with my parents. After church we enjoyed a delicious brunch (that turned into lunch by the time we were done with it), swapped presents, goofed around, and ate too many sweets!
And, of course, there was the annual Hales Family Talent Show. Or maybe we should call it the Hales Family Variety Show, depending on your definition of "talent".
