Photos-updated!

We stayed with my grandparents in Maryland while we were there for Brandon's friend Joey's wedding.  Nicholas enjoyed bonding with Grandpa Kiley, though I think he made grandpa a little nervous when he took great interest in all of his computer stuff!

Brandon and some of Joey's friends/family decorated their car.  They actually did a really, really good job on it...Joey and Katrina will be finding all sorts of confetti hiding places for months!

Nicholas was a pretty good sport while we were driving.  It definitely helps that his car seat is now forward facing.  He generally kicked back, read a book, took a nap, made faces at us, etc.

4th of July sparklers with Dad!  Nicholas liked them, 

but preferred to observe them from a safe distance!

Brandon attempted to water ski for the first time while we were out on the Ohio River 4th of July weekend.  This is about the only view we got of him during this attempt!  He enjoyed it, though!

Amazingly enough, Nicholas fell asleep completely upright while the boat was going down the river!  I guess the wind in his face was enough to make him sleepy!

Nicholas turned 1!  Notice that he still has a few bruises on forehead and legs, but we thought we'd go ahead and get his photos taken anyway before he was too old to have his 1 year photos taken!
