Trouble Shooters

Despite the fact that I would love to take more photos of my kids, the fact remains that they hate photo shoots.  Even candid ones.  They just hate having their photos taken.  Out of the last 1000 photos we've taken of Nicholas, maybe 7 have worked out.  Renae tries to cooperate, but let's face it, she's only 2 1/2 months old.  Here's my attempt at getting a cute one of the two of them together for our Christmas cards.  I may just end up using one of these because they are true to life.

Don't they looked thrilled?  I love Renae's I'm-already-sick-of-this expression.  It was the second photo taken.!

Here Nicholas is trying to tell Renae to not look at the camera.  It worked.

Then I thought one day last week that I'd try to force Nicholas to take a photo with me.  Believe it or not he was giggling just seconds before the photo was taken.

Instead he acts like taking a photo with me makes him want to throw up.

At least it all worked out in the end on this one!

I like this method...as long as I'm not the subject.  I can always count on getting a good photo of these two because they are always asleep!
