We tend to get antsy around here on Saturdays and want to get out and explore. So, one Saturday in February, we found ourselves at a place in Kentucky called Carter Caves. Brandon had been there before with his family when he was growing up, but it was brand new to me. The cave tour we went on (X Cave, so named for the shape of the tunnel system) wasn't thrilling. However, we went on a hike before the tour started, and I think that was everyone's favorite part of the trip. On the hike, there is a natural bridge, which was just beautiful. We also happened upon a sweet little playground area, which the kids loved. I hope the kids remember the fun memories we made that day!
