Monday Revisited

Monday didn't end up being as bad as it had started for us.  After talking to the lady from our bank on the phone, the outlook for us getting the transferred money back was pretty much doomsday-ish.  However, this morning when I checked our bank account info, the money was in there, which meant that I had acted just in time for our bank to put a notice in their computer to reroute that transfer into our account.  Prayers work!  I also had a successful grocery shopping experience yesterday, getting a tube of biscuits, some dish soap, a tube of toothpaste, and a box of brownie mix for free!  (I love combining sales with using coupons!)  I also made some zucchini bread that actually turned out really well (I've never made it before).  Of course, Nicholas did find a way to step in my big, black ink pad and make footprints all over the carpet (we have a pretty good carpet stain remover, thankfully) and somehow a bunch of houseflies found their way into our house (I had fly paper on hand to take care of that), but all in all, things turned out well.  I guess the lessons learned yesterday were to pray over everything, have faith, and be positive...I really am more in control of things than I sometimes give myself credit for, based on the way I react to challenges in my life.
