My Mr. Knightley

I just finished watching Masterpiece Theater's version of Emma and loved it!  Ever since the movie version of the book starring Jeremy Northam and Gwyneth Paltrow came out in the mid-90's, I have loved the story and especially the character of Mr. Knightley.  When I was a freshman in college, I finally read the book and developed an even bigger crush on Mr. Knightley.  He was always just so sweet and thoughtful and nice and patient.  The closing scene of the movie tonight was of Mr. Knightley and Emma standing side by side on a hill overlooking the ocean.  At this point, Brandon put down the article he was reading and said of Mr. Knightley, "he's pretty much a typical, quiet guy, isn't he?"  I turned and just stared at him as he went back to reading his article.  Typical?  What???  I then said, "acutally, he's pretty much one of the sexiest men in literature."  Without any hesitation or pause or even looking up from his article, Brandon responded simply with, "that's only because I'm not in literature."  Yes, Brandon, you are adorable and thank goodness you are real.
