To celebrate Marissa's 19th birthday, most of the girls on Brandon's side of the family (minus Chessie and Renae, but including Nicholas and Micah) went to see Disney on Ice in Columbus a few weeks ago. I had never seen anything on ice in person before (except for the fuzzy memory I may be having from something at Kings Island), so I thought this would be a lot of fun! We all had a great time! Nicholas kept saying, "wow!" and "see, Mommy!" He was even more excited when he received a cool light stick from Grandma Brooks!
My favorite part was from "It's a Small World After All." All of the performers were wearing blue and white...my favorites color combination! I collect blue/white ceramics, our wedding colors were blue and white, my engagement ring is blue and white...you are probably getting a sense of how excited I was when I saw their costumes!
I couldn't resist getting a photo of my little guy and me together! It was a lot of fun spending some one-on-one time together that day!
We especially had fun with the birthday girl, Marissa! She is always so wonderful with our kids and they, in return, adore their aunt Marissa! We hope you had a great birthday, and we love you, Marissa!
