We went to the Cincinnati Zoo a few weeks ago with my friend, Sarah, and her two kids, Aidan and Cate. I love the my kids and her kids are right around the same age as my kids, and they all get along! Nicholas will actually walk around our house holding a picture of Aidan from their Christmas card and ask me to call Aidan's mommy so that he can play with Aidan. Cute, huh? At any rate, we went to the zoo with them, planning on being their free guest, but walked away with our own zoo membership because we love that place so much! So, if any of my other Cincinnati friends have zoo memberships or just want to go to the zoo, we are (almost) always up for it and would love to go! We also got the membership where we can ride the train and carousel unlimited times for free and get to bring a friend for free each time, so it should be a fun year for us!

I liked this picture of Nicholas watching the lions, but I really wish I had gotten a picture of Aidan walking around right here because he was afraid of walking on the wooden slats (the cracks between each slat freaked him out), and he was so cute as he walked cautiously along the path! I felt his pain because I have been known to walk cautiously over grates and paths like this, too!
